OUR PURPOSE 🤍
Healing Girl Era™ exists to remind women that what tried to break them does not get to define them.
We believe healing is powerful. Growth is beautiful. And becoming — even after heartbreak, loss, motherhood, trauma, grief, starting over, or life’s hardest seasons — deserves to be honoured.
Our purpose is to create more than clothing.
We are building a movement for women rebuilding. A space that reminds women of their strength, softness, resilience, and potential.
Because healing isn’t weakness.
It’s courage.
It’s choosing yourself again.
It’s becoming.
Our Principals
OUR PRINCIPLES ✨
Healing
We honour the healing journey — loud or quiet, messy or beautiful. There is no timeline for becoming.
Growth
We believe growth takes courage. Every step forward matters, even the small ones.
Becoming
We believe life doesn’t end after hard seasons. Sometimes the most powerful version of you is waiting on the other side.
Authenticity
We honour real stories, real women, and real journeys. No perfection — just becoming.
Community
Healing Girl Era™ was created for the women rebuilding. Here, women are seen, supported, and reminded they are not alone.
Identity & Culture
Through collections like the Afro-Kiwi Koru Collection™, we celebrate heritage, resilience, belonging, and the beauty of carrying multiple identities with pride.
Healing. Growing. Becoming.
For the women rebuilding.
She taught me what unconditional love looks like.
The kind of love that stays.
The kind of love that sees you.
The kind of love that chooses you.
She taught me about connection, belonging, culture, aroha, strength, and what it means to be held through life’s hardest moments.
Because of her, my identity became something beautifully layered.
I am proudly Zimbabwean, and I am deeply connected to the Māori world that embraced me.
For a long time, I wondered where I fit.
Now, I understand that I don’t have to choose.
My dual identity is one of my greatest strengths.
It is part of how I move through the world, how I love, how I heal, and how I create.
It is reflected deeply in Healing Girl Era™, especially through the Afro-Kiwi Koru Collection™ — a collection inspired by the beauty of carrying multiple cultures, identities, and stories with pride.
Then came seasons that tested me in ways I never imagined.
I experienced domestic violence — a chapter of my life that challenged my confidence, my sense of safety, and the way I saw myself. Abuse changes you. It teaches survival in ways you never imagined, and healing from it is something that takes time, courage, and deep self-compassion.
After leaving that chapter behind, I found love again.
And then, life changed forever.
I lost my husband while I was pregnant.
Grief has a way of changing everything.
Suddenly, I found myself navigating heartbreak, motherhood, loss, and survival all at once. There were moments where I felt completely lost. Moments where I questioned how I would move forward, how I would carry so much pain, and somehow still show up for myself and my children.
There were seasons where I felt broken.
Seasons where I was simply surviving.
But somewhere in the middle of it all, I made a decision:
I wasn’t going to let what happened define the rest of my story.
I decided to rebuild.
I went back to studying. I started showing up for myself again. I began prioritising my healing — mentally, emotionally, and physically.
As someone who is neurodivergent and lives with ADHD, life has not always felt linear for me. My mind is creative, passionate, and driven — but it has also meant learning to navigate overwhelm, self-doubt, and a world that isn’t always built for the way I think.
For a long time, I felt like I had to work harder just to keep up.
But healing taught me something important:
My mind is not something to fix.
It is part of my strength.
And somewhere along the way, running changed my life.
What started as movement became therapy.
Running became part of my healing.
The gym became a space where I slowly rebuilt confidence, discipline, strength, and belief in myself again. Over time, that journey became a weight loss journey, a self-discovery journey, and proof to myself that I was capable of more than I ever imagined.
I started running half marathons.
Not because it was easy — but because every finish line reminded me of something important:
I can do hard things.
Healing taught me that strength isn’t just about surviving hard things.
It’s about choosing yourself again.
Showing up.
Growing.
Becoming.
Healing Girl Era™ was created from that journey.
A reminder for every woman rebuilding that what tried to break you does not get to define you.
This is for the women healing after loss.
The women starting over.
The women navigating grief, domestic violence, motherhood, neurodivergence, heartbreak, trauma, self-doubt, or simply life not going to plan.
The women becoming something even stronger.
Because healing isn’t about becoming who you were before.
It’s about becoming someone even stronger.
Welcome to your Healing Girl Era™ 🤍

ABOUT ME 🤍
Where It All Started
My name is Nyasha Michelle Davy, and I am the founder of Healing Girl Era™.
Healing Girl Era™ is deeply personal.
This brand was born from some of the hardest seasons of my life — seasons that forced me to rebuild, rediscover myself, and learn what healing really looks like.
But before all of that, my story began in Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe will always be part of who I am — my roots, my spirit, my resilience. It is where my story began, where culture, strength, and community were woven into me long before I fully understood what identity meant.
But life had another chapter waiting for me.
Along the way, I met my whāngai mum, a woman who changed my life in ways I struggle to fully put into words.
She didn’t just welcome me — she loved me.
Deeply.
Fully.
Unconditionally.
And through her, I was embraced into te ao Māori in a way that transformed me.
